An Amazing Ride!
When mom first ran the concept of Honey, I Dressed the Pug by me, I was a bit skeptical. I mean fashion is for frenchies, we pugs are more chilled out, laid-back, 'give us a burger with fries and we are all set' type of guys. But, when she said this meant I get to go everywhere around London with her, I was immediately on board. I love to be with my human all the time, you see.
Once we started shooting regularly, I realised what an awesome bargain this was! Shoot days were literally a feast. My deal with mom was 'one treat, one pose'. Another highlight of our shoots has been meeting Margarita aunty. She makes me look so great on camera, she accentuates all my good features. Also, she has a pug called Kira back home in Russia. When she showed her picture to me, trust me, it was love at first sight. I am always all ears when mom asks Margarita aunty about Kira. Hope to meet her some day.
One of my five minutes of stardom came while shooting in South Kensington, the day I was wearing my converse (look-alike) sneakers. I mean I have never got so much attention in my whole life. Its like people had never seen a pug wearing sneakers before, I mean common, its the 21st century! People just pulled up their phones and kept taking my pictures, don't get me wrong, I love the attention. But, we were making a blog post here, hello!
The funniest incident was the one in Chelsea. You all know we love taking shots outside colourful London doors and Chelsea has some amazing ones. So we were outside one of these doors and I was being a bit difficult that day. Mom wanted a shot of me giving her a kiss on the cheek. How embarrassing to be seen as mama's boy in public, eeeew! So, mom completely forgot she was outside someones house and kept saying 'gimme a kiss', 'gimme a kiss'. It didn't sound right at all. A few minutes later the door behind us opens and this lady walks out with a very grim and baffled expression. As she sees me, her face softens and she starts smiling. What can I say, I have this effect on people.
Sometimes dad also joins us on shoots or takes some pictures for us. I love those fun family weekends. Overall its been an amazing ride! I have seen so much of London in this last one year and my wardrobe is bursting with some of the coolest dog fashion brands. But, the best part has been meeting you guys. We hope you have enjoyed this ride with us and will continue to be a part of our colourful chaotic world. xx
